Extension

A house extension involves expanding an existing home to create additional living space. This can include adding extra rooms, enlarging the kitchen, or building new floors. Homeowners often choose extensions to accommodate a growing family, enhance functionality, or increase property value. If this is what you've been searching for, than your search ends here.

How it works

Week 1 and 2

Week 3 and 4

Week 5 and 6

Week 7 and 8

Week 9 and 10

Week 11 and 12

In the first week of the project we begin digging the foundations, clearing out all the soil, demolishing the existing kitchen and on the last day we finish the foundations.

In the second week we complete all of the underground drainage works as well as laying the concrete foundations.

In the third week, we focus on building the main walls of the extensions, which we normally finish by the end of the week depending on the size of the project.

In the fourth week, we demolish any structural walls and support any exisiting walls according to the architechts drawings.

In, the fifth week the installation of steel beams takes place, which we usually finish within the end of the fifth week.

In the sixth week, we begin laying the concrete slabs, which we usually finish within 1 week, including the levelling of the ground and the preparation to place the slabs.

In the seventh week, we begin and complete all of the roof works. This includes the roof structure, wooden structure and exterior finishes.

In the Eighth week, we complete the first fix's plumbing and electrics - this takes up the entire week.

In the ninth week, we insulate all of the roof, we install the plaster boards and we plaster the walls.

In the Tenth week, we continue the insulation process; insulating the floor, installment of under floor heating if required, completiong of any patio work and screeding of the floors.

In the eleventh week, we install the kitchen and complete all of the wood works and tiling.

In the twelve and last week, we complete all of the electric and plumbing work, complete any snagging, tidy up the place and tthen finally hand over the keys.
