Higham Hill Road

Extension:

Like every other extension, our journey to expand this property commenced with the excavation of the foundations, pouring concrete, waterproofing with plastic sheets, the levelling of the ground, and the pouring of more concrete - essentially providing the

groundwork for the living space to be build upon. With the completion of the foundation, we proceeded with the bricklaying process. Our skilled bricklayers meticulously aligned each brick congruently, showcasing our commitment to quality. Next, steel beams were

installed with the purpose of supporting the extension, followed by electrical wiring and plumbing. We installed two skylights, to add to the natural essence of the property. A key factor, the light coming in from the skylights allowed the house to feel cosy, but also bright and happy simultaneously. But of course, none of that matters if it's freezing inside, so we added the insulation to the property, followed the the plaster boards and plastering to finish off the exterior of the house. Moving inward, the existing wall between the extension and the house was demolished and levelled - the extension now blends in with the rest of the home seamlessly. The Flooring, a patterned set of tiles, was meticulously fitted. We installed large glass sliding doors to accompany to skylights fitted earlier, completing the duo. The heart of the home, the kitchen was then installed - a double sided set, it was a grey and white theme, to match the walls and tiles. A great choice on both the clients and our part. Finally, the walls were painted in crystal white, marking the end of the extension phase for the Higham Hill Road Project.

Loft Conversion:

We put a lot of effort into the details of transforming this loft. The first step involved tearing down everything – the roof, walls, partitions, and floors. It wasn't just about creating space; it was laying the groundwork for a significant transformation. By carefully dismantling these components, we achieved a fresh start to shape a stunning living space. We applied our expertise to seamlessly integrate various sections, ensuring smooth functionality throughout. When it came to the roof, meticulous planning preceded its construction to uphold the highest standards. We then adorned the roof with two velux skylights, flooding the loft with natural light and offering a delightful outdoor vista with a Juliet Balcony. Prioritising effective insulation demonstrated our commitment to energy efficiency and year-round comfort. Ensuring the loft's structural integrity was paramount, which led us to employ sturdy steel beams, not only for their effectiveness but also as a testament to our

dedication to longevity. The outcome was a loft that not only boasted aesthetic appeal but also remained steadfast and robust. Our team's proficiency ensured our clients' satisfaction. Upgrading the electrical system wasn't solely a technical endeavour; it was about future-proofing the loft, adhering to the latest standards and surpassing expectations. Elegant tiling in the living area maintained its sophisticated ambiance, while rewiring set the stage for advanced technology integration. To add the final flourishes, we treated the walls and replaced outdated floors with gleaming wooden ones.
