The Leyton E15 project was a project conducted over a period of 6 months consisting of 3 services: A Loft Conversion, A House Renovation and An Extension. Let me take you through it:

Loft Conversion:

The First thing we did here was demolish the existing roof and any partitions that existed at the moment. We also took away and most of the walls and floors as well planned on changing both them and the plumbing and electrical work in there. Then, we added the partitions needed to separate the bedroom and the ensuite bathroom we had

decided to use the space for. Next we began work on the roof, leaving spaces for the window and two skylights. We added the insulation, ensuring that it was top tier, added the plastering boards, plastered the wall and finished off the basis for the ceiling. We then fitted the steel beams, and finally we closed off and finished the roof. Next we started and finished the rewiring of the electrical in the loft and the plumbing for the ensuite bathroom we had decided to build. Upon the completion of this stage, we closed and painted the walls, replaced the old floors with nice new polished wooden flooring and tiles for the bathroom. After, finally, we added the skylights to finish off this amazing loft conversion - the owners loved it!

House Renovation:

This part of the project began like all others - with the demolition process. We

all partitions and, similar to the loft, the walls and the flooring, as we were going to rewire the property and redo the plumbing. After the end of the demolition process, we took our new floor plan and began to insert the new partitions for the new rooms that were to come. Unlike for some of our other projects, this particular one required a high amount of partitions, so this part took a bit longer than usual; but once it was done, we began work in the electrical and plumbing works of the property. Once that was completed, we closed the floors, again using a polished wood finish to get that feeling of modernity and cosiness in the property, closed the walls with a white paint finish, finished the ceiling and added the lights, for which we chose LED Spotlights and that sums up the House Renovation part of this project!

Extension:

The first thing we did in terms of extending the property was dig the foundations, lay the concrete, made it water proof using sheets of plastic, levelled it, places down more concrete and quite literally began building from the ground up. This Client in particular had a reasonably large amount of space available to extend, so this process of setting up the foundations and placing in the beams took a bit longer than usual -

you will find that the we value the quality of the work higher than the amount of time it took to do so, although we are still very time sensitive. Furthermore, after the foundations had been finished, we began laying the concrete slabs and the bricklaying phase began. Once that was finished, we layed the steel beams, did the electrical work, did the plastering and insulation and finally the Roof. Then the interior of the Extension begins. The existing wall between the extension and the house was then demolished, and levelled. Then a few more partitions were placed, the floor was done (a Polished wood finish), large glass sliding doors were inserted and some skylights were fitted. Finally we browsed, bought and inserted a kitchen into the extension space, marking the end of the extension phase.
