The Nithdale Road Project was a combination of an extension, a house renovation and a loft conversion. In this article, we will take your through each part of this project. And if your interested in something like this, then please see the end of this article. Thank you.
Extension:

With the task of extending the property in our hands, we began the process that would lead to the brick laying phase. We dug the foundations, layed the concrete and made it water prood useing sheets of plastic. Following the completion of this, we also had to level the ground, which we did by laying more concrete evenly. Then it was time to build the walls. This client had a very large amount of space available for the extension, so it only makes sense that the process we just mentioned and the bricklaying phase took a bit longer when in comparison to some of our other projects. However, you will find that we value the quality of the work higher than the amount of time it takes to do it (although we are still time sensitive). The bricklaying phases involved the laying of concrete slabs and the actual bricks themeselves, which here at Ibex we belive is that heart of the property, hence why we used yellow bricks in this case - high quality bricks meant to allow the property to breath without the expense of the accomodators. Then, we layed the steel beams, did the electrical work, did the plastering and finally the roof, for which we used high quality navy tiling. This markes the beggining of the interior work. The exisiting wall between the extensino and the house was demolished, and then further leveled to be in terms with the new build. Moreover, after the placement of a partition, we fitted the floor - a polished wood pattern finish, added large sliding doors and inserted the skylights. Finally we browsed, bought and inserted a kitchen into the extension space, marking the end of the extension phase.
House Renovation:

The House Renovation part of this project was remarkable. However, like most of our other house renovation projects it began - with the demolistion process. We
demolitioned all partitions, walls and flooring, as we were going to rewire the property and redo the plumbing. After the end of the demolition process, we took our new floor plan and began to insert the new partitions for the new rooms that were to come. Unlike for some of our other projects, this particular one required a low amount of partitions, so this part was quicker than usual (not sacrificing any quality of course). Once it was done, we began work in the electrical and plumbing works of the property, rewiring all the lights and redirecting certain pipes. Then, we closed the floors, again using a polished wood pattern to get that feeling of modernity and cosyness in the property, closed the walls with a white paint finish (although we did paing the beams red), finished the ceiling and added the lights, for which we chose pendant lights to envoke style and asthetic within the property (and even the extension).
Loft Conversion:

Like most of our projects (even outside of loft conversions) we began to demolish the loft. This included the partitions, most of the walls and floors (with the intent on changing both them and changing the plumbing and electrical work in there) and most of the roof. Then, we added the partions needed to separate the bedroom and the ensuite bathroom we had
decided to use the space for, a great use of space considering that this would be the master bedroom. Next we began work on the roof, leaving spaces for the window and two skylights. We added the insulation, ensuring that it was top tier, added the plastering boards, plastered the wall and finished off the basis for the ceiling, being completely sure that it was all completely top tier. We then fitted the steel beams, and finally we closed off and finished the roof. Next we started and finished the rewiring of the electrical in the loft and the plumbing for the ensuite bathroom we had decided to build. Upon the completion of this stage, we closed and painted the walls, and replaced the old floors with nice new polished wooden flooring After, finally, we added the skylights to finish off this amazing loft conversion - the owners loved it!
